Breed: KERRY HILL

Kerry Hill

Originating from South West Wales, it takes its name from the village of Kerry, near Newton. The first flock book was published in 1899.

The polled head, ears and legs are clean and show clearly defined patches of black and white.

Fleece and products

The dense white fleece has an average staple length of 10 cm., a Bradford count of 55 and weighs 2.75 kg. This yarn is particularly well suited to Arran type knitting as it has the ability to hold a structured pattern.
