The Galway is considered to be a longwool breed. Developed in the West of Ireland it is often crossed with other breeds. Hornless, with a white head it produses high quality fleece

Fleece and products

Developed in the West of Ireland from the native Roscommon it can trace its ancestry to the famous Dishley Leicester. The long-stapled fleece is long and white.
